The Best is Yet to Come

Dear St. James parents,

Happy New Year! Frank Sinatra said “The best is yet to come” and at St. James Preschool this is very true. We have welcomed 5 new families to our wonderful program and are very happy they are here.  We continue in the next 41/2 months of teaching and striving to mold our children into curious learners and prepare them for the adventures they will face at the next level of education all the while helping them to be kind and happy children.

We have much to look forward to- The GALA on January 27th, Valentines Day, Dad’s day in March, and our spring table, as well as hatching chickens and a petting Zoo for our Farm week in April. In the Immersion room we will be studying Great Leaders this month.

May this year bring new happiness, new goals, new achievements, and many new inspirations to your life. Wishing you a year loaded with happiness. I hope that this new year will be the best year for all of you. May all your hopes be fulfilled and all your dreams come true.

Gentle reminders–

  • Registration closed on December 8th. It is VERY important that if you are coming back you need to register your child or children so that we can figure out our classes for next year. If you are not returning we are sad to see you go but would appreciate you letting us know the reason. It helps us know where we can be better. Thank you for your help with this.
  • If you are applying out to other schools, please send the evaluations to be completed by your child(ren)’s teacher to me through Ravenna or the schools’ website. As a reminder, some of our teachers receive many evaluations to fill out so it does take some time. Please bear with us so we can provide the schools with the best information.
  • The information session about our Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten classes will be held January 22nd at 9:15. If you are interested in learning more about either of these programs please come to this session. All parents who are interested are welcome.

Thank you for all that you do to make St. James the best that it can be. We look forward to beginning the new year with all of you.

With joy,
Susan Viers
