Interactive Boards are Here!

Dear St. James Families,

We are nearing the close of preschool and the halls and classrooms are getting lively. There is much anticipation for summer, camps, field trips and recognition ceremonies. We adults thinks of these things in many ways with mixed emotions.

This week is full of many joyous and fun things. Our classes will begin our week with a flight to Paris, where we will learn some French words, sing a French song and visit some famous tourist sites while in Paris. On Wednesday we will have a French food tasting in our culture and inclusion room. The classes will return to Atlanta on Friday just in time to celebrate Mother’s day.

On Thursay and Friday our classes will celebrate our moms. Please make sure that you have reached out to see what time your child’s class is celebrating.

Next week we will have our last chapel and all parents are invited to attend.
We will be announcing all of our July and August birthdays as well.

It is also our last Walk in Wednesday for the school year.

If you havent heard from your child the chicks are getting bigger and sprouting their wings just like our Prek, TK, and Kindergarten children.

At the science table our tadpoles have grpown their legs and the Buttterflies hav come out of their cocoon.  Their is new life all around us.

We have installed the Clear Touch( smart boards) that were so generously purchased with the funds accrued from the Silent Auction. Thank you so much to all of our parents for donating toward this innovative learning tool. The teachers and students are very excited as they have begun using them during instruction time.

Parent Night Out is this Friday. Please contact Elizabeth Abston( or
Sallie Duncan( to register.

Have a wonderful rest of your Sunday night and we look forward to seeing you this week.
