Short Week and So Much Fun!

Dear St. James’ Families,
I hope everyone has enjoyed this long weekend and were able to enjoy some family time together.
This week the school will have a Mardi Gras parade on Friday for just the staff and students. All of the classes will line the hallways with noisemakers and masks as the 2’s classes, toddlers, and infants parade down the halls.
We will be sharing with children about the Cajun culture and Mardi Gras tradition.
Next week carpool will start early at 8:45 on Monday the 27th so that we can have another parade celebrating Dr.Seuss’ birthday and then the first ever Chapel where Parents are invited to join. We welcome anyone who would like to share in this beautiful experience with us. It begins at 9:20 and ends at 9:40. Be on the lookout for the flyer letting you know how your child should dress each day of Dr.Seuss week, February 27-March 3.
A few reminders:
Please do not pass in the carpool line and let your caregivers and family members know who are picking up your children. This has become a problem and is very dangerous for our staff.
We appreciate your continued responses on the survey. One of the suggestions was for parents to be invited to Chapel so we appreciate your suggestions and comments. Teachers also appreciate having a shout out or two as well.
Thank you for allowing us to teach and love your children,
Susan Viers
