End of the Year Fun

Dear St. James’ Families,
It’s hard to believe that we are coming up on the end of school. It feels like yesterday when we just started and there were many anxious and tentative children. However, in these last 8 months, I have seen the children grow taller, become more independent, self-sufficient and curious, and develop genuine relationships with their peers and teachers.
St. James is a special place. It’s warm, cozy and inviting, yet highly academic and instructive.
We nurture the future leaders, artists, engineers, and so many others. Our passion for the education of young children is only matched by the joy found in every student that we teach and in everything that they do.
As we wrap up the last month of 2022-2023 let’s all be mindful of our children: what they do, think and say and the moments when the light bulb goes off at the instant something takes hold. Childhood is fleeting and short lived and time is precious.
We are grateful for the opportunity to share in the life of your children. Thank you.
Some news;
May 8th there will be another parent chapel. It will be the last one for this school year and the 2 year-olds will be invited to attend.
May 10th will be the last Walk in Wednesday.
May 17th and 18th are picnics and Recognition ceremonies. Please make sure to check in with your child’s teacher for the dates and times of each.
Have a great Sunday!
Susan
